I'm the cat you keep hearing about.

The 2009 Furiowards are in. For those of you interested in the 2008 winners, here they are.
A completely impartial committee sifted through all the nominees, and painstakingly chose the best Furio-related content from 2009, in a few age-old categories:
I hope that 2010 gets off to a great start for everyone, and that your holidays were half as restful as mine.
You’ll hear more about this in the next few week’s, but I got a gig as the spokescat for MollyMeow, a sweet new line of cat beds debuting in January.
Here’s some behind-the-scenes footage of my photo-shoot where I modeled the beds tonight.
I put up some pics on Facebook, too.
We worked with Kira Stackhouse from Nuena Photography, who has a gift.
I didn’t have to worry about whether or not Kira’s shots would be flattering. Without Kira the camera might have added 10 lbs., and that’d be devastating for me, as it would double my body weight.
If you’re looking for a great dog bed in the next month, check out MollyMutt.com.
I know I’m getting in late on the posthumous MJ-mania, but what do you think about a re-imagining of the Thriller album from the cat’s perspective?
It’s sort of like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, but musical, and without all the crotch grabbing.
One thing you’ll see plenty of is my Moonwalk (click the link, if you doubt me).
I decided that I needed to think critically about how I approach sleep. You spend 16 hours a day doing something, you wanna do it right… right?
My roommates are big on “pillows”, so I thought I’d give it a shot.
After one nap, I give the “pillow” a 5 out of 10. I couldn’t fit on it, so only half of me was comfortable, but the part that was on it (my head) slept well. Despite the low rating, this thing has promise.
I’m going to keep on eye on this technology. I think in a few years we might all be using these things.
[Protip: Combine a “pillow” with a blanket to maximize both comfort and warmth. See the photo if it sounds confusing.]

Settling into our new place. Tonight we had our first family dinner: panini sandwiches!
Just saw “Two cats, One cup”! I feel like I need a shower, which is big because normally I hate water.
My new video, Go West Young Cat!, has finally seen the light of day, after being held up in post-production for ~2 months.
I’ll be working with a different crew for future projects, but, in the mean time, here’s some fun footage for you to enjoy.
Who else but Claudia would have let me ride her mop while she cleaned?
Who else would’ve forgiven me for scratching through her nice pants?
Who else would have patiently calmed me down that time I accidentally turned on the radio?
I guess part of growing up is learning how to say goodbye to close friends, but I was a mess when it came time to part with Claudia. I couldn’t even face the camera. If I want people to treat me like I’m 28 in cat years, I guess I should keep a stiff upper lip (I have no other option, in that regard), and promise to keep in touch.
This is not a rehearsal. I’m actually in the process of killing a REAL MOUSE!!!! Yes! All the running up and down stairs. All the chasing furry plastic balls. It’s all worth it.
I was surprised, but flattered when the NBA asked to license some of my footage for a new commercial. It’s from their Amazing series.
Okay, let’s say I did sit on your cardboard box… What do you want me to say?
Oh MAN! Alex threw some really kind ‘nip in this old sock and I am wigging out.
It’s like, how come a bath for me, is tooootally different than a bath for you?
Are there any treats left?
Well, according to Facebook, I have the same fan demographics as Viggo Mortensen.
I need to figure out a way to go after more of the Jonas Brothers’ crowd.
I’m really excited about the debut of Slumcat Millionaire.
Here’s the press release that was put out by the film’s producers:
In Slumcat, Furio shows his range, playing all 3 roles and carrying the film on his back with panache.
While the action and drama are both, at times, a bit gritty, he acted within his abilities, and didn’t take any risks with which he wasn’t perfectly comfortable.
Not only did he have the time of his life making this movie, he also had quite a few treats.
